Forever

Canal series

Pastel on paper, by Marilyn Ruseckas.
24 inches by 34 inches.

2011 $3,200.00

This was the first piece in the Belgian canal series. It shows the bike path where we rode our bikes along the water.

This pastel was drawn on acid-free cotton rag paper with light-fast color. The artwork is mounted on acid-free mat board with black window mat as the first layer. There is a spacer between the black mat and a natural museum board window mat, leaving about a 3/8" reveal of black around the image. The assemblage of foam board, mounted and matted artwork, and the glass are framed in natural cherry with paper backing.

Forever is framed with Tru-Vue AR (anti-reflective) museum glass.
